We are paid minimal but have the chance to earn generous tips.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was hired as a server but got stuck in takeout; I feel as if they have no faith in me, or they're just using me. They've fired and hired several other servers after I was hired and I just feel betrayed.

If they recognized and awarded exceptional effort and teamwork rather than awarding those who are friendly with and socialize with management after hours.

Food and Bev servers will always take care of each other. That's how a team gets the job done.
