Compensation has been historically difficult for me here, but I've been able to overcome that by learning & moving up quickly
HubSpot: I think HubSpot is a progressive company that is constantly trying to improve. Whether that is about internal processes, staff, or how to ensure that employees are happy. The transparency from senior management and HR is there, even through difficult questions. They really are invested in us.

HubSpot: Welcoming atmosphere, I am respected and my opinion is valued. I am not micromanaged and I have autonomy.
HubSpot: I've been at HubSpot for a long time and I've been really happy to see our company embrace change and speed. There are tradeoffs always, but it always has felt we balance those well. I'm still a little hesitant on the bimodal strategy since that's two strategies masked as one.

HubSpot: It has been a mixed bag, it is not as inclusive as it says it is, it is NAM centric with everyone else as a second thought. My manager is incredible but if she wasn't here I wouldn't be either
HubSpot: It's good overall, but the workload can be overwhelming at times, we take on too many unplanned tasks impacting our quarterly plans, our team is at its full capacity at all times. I'd like to have more senior and experienced engineers on my team.

Everbridge: Onboarding is lacking. Disconnected in the team. Unsure who people are, who does what, etc. but part of that is lack of onboarding. Also "priorities" seem to be a bit all over the place. Lastly, disappointed that they will be forcing vaccination. Health should be a choice.

Peloton: Although the company standards expectations and perks are admirable, on a local level they're not very visible, promoted or adhered to. Everbridge: Great place with a great pace. Leadership team is open, supportive.

TowneBank: Company promotes having fun, and they support a flexible work schedule to promote a nice work/life balance.
Everbridge: Too many acquisitions in a short period of time - nothing is fully integrated so the backend is a disaster. Sales Engineers are overworked and leaving, Onboarding Specialists are Taxed and Account Managers can't keep up this pace of the "pile on" mentality. No one in upper management cares.
