The hiring manager needs to choose people who are reliable and professional. My manager also never explained the different sales areas to me but put constant pressure on me to improve them and rated my performance based on them.

Hours are constantly being cut yet associates are expected to hold the store together and do everything, yet we have absolutely no benefits. It takes forever to build up any sick or vacation time.

Employees aren't rewarded or compensated for achieving higher numbers in sales categories. There is constant pressure to be perfect at all activities but few supplies to accomplish the tasks and a lot of repetitious busy work that takes a lot of brain power.
