I have worked in the retail industry for 45 years, both in management and customer service. I've been a manager for Lowe's and home Depot. But I'm getting older and my knees can't take the strain of being on my feet for 8 hours a day and a longer.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Giving direction & their follow thru.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I felt that we had great health insurance, paid sick leave, & substantial paid time off/vacation options, also great stock options.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the fact that they utilize your best skills regardless of what depts. you run. I personally managed lumber, building materials, Millworks, hardware and tools, with crews of 6-12 people in each Dept. My departments were well kept, organized and stocked, my inventory numbers being within 1%.
