I spent a lot of time going above and beyond for my store and was never appreciated by management for my efforts. My work was never good enough for them and there was ALWAYS a problem with what I accomplished in a shift.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Associates that refused to work are coddled and never held accountable. Stop placing lazy associates in high paced departments not only do the employees suffer but the customers do. Our work has to be completed in a timely manner but it has to be done with a least a little bit of care.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I constantly have to make up for the lack of effort for other associates the cuts into my task. When I finish the others' task I am reprimanded on not managing my time well. Not only do the lazy senior associates make more while doing less the new associates make more on day one.
