What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Your distric managers and store managers, don't want to look past themselves and there interests to focus on the employees.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My co workers are fantastic, some of them do only come in and do the bare minimum. But I don't expect part timers to come in after 8hrs of full time work and exert maximum effort.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Paying better attention to your employees, if a situation requires extra time you shouldn't be scolding us for staying extra to do our jobs. You guys seriously need to start budgeting for overtime in all stores, companies don't thrive on the bare minimum, sometimes extra is required.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I've had contractors stop me and tell me that they don't buy lumber from us because it's always crooked. There is hardly any space to effectively store product in 2104. Most days 1/3rd of the store is run by 1 employee and customers can't find anyone to assist them(fully staffed apparently).
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Store 2104, this company is insanely metrics based the message given by your DM, SM and ASMs is if your doing good at at part of you metrics and not another, your pathetic, need to manage your time better, and you will never be good enough unless your in the good graces.
