Ended up being one of the worst places I have ever worked.

You have no hope unless you seriously look at the policy’s and the people you put in charge of informing them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have recently gone to work for Lowe’s. They hired me starting rate at $3.60 more than I was making at Home Depot down the street after 10 years.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My co workers have been beaten down and micro managed to the point that they are unhappy and find no satisfaction or meaning in what they do. This transfers to the low morale and customer interactions.
