It is not a terrible place to work, but it is not all they have it cracked up to be either. I never feel appreciated as an empoyee.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
doing right and caring about the workers.
What makes you most happy at work?
getting my shift finished is the best part of the day.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The customers and a few of the employees help you make it through the shift. I feel good helping customers.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They do not care because they know that management does not care. I finally gave up and gave in and no longer care.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview went smoothly and was done by a lady who was smiling then but hardly even looked at me once I was hired.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
What benefits? You have to pay for them. Home depot pays less than 10% towards benefits. After 4 years I made the same as new hires off the street.
