I love the home depot and most of my co-workers and it's a great company to work for but it definitely has things to work on
What makes you most happy at work?
I love working the pro desk or a regular register, but I absolutely despise working self checkout
What did you like most about the interview process?
The actual interviews themselves were great but the orientation and training process after is a train wreck
What are some of the best things about your team?
I never go to meetings because i am a cashier so i really have no input on meetings but i do love my fellow cashiers!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The insurance is horrid! covers nothing and can't cancel it till the year is up even though im now using it because it doesn't help
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The HC are all great, but the department manager in my department constantly lets some of the cashiers ignore the rules while others are enforced strictly
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
For the most part as long as you do you job you are good and we can usually get a few good laughs in on breaks or when the store is dead
