Overall, it's been a great experience with tremendous opportunities to grow. If there's any fault, it's that the company isn't doing enough to drive employee-career path from a company-sponsored and structured level. Too often, the onus is only on the employee.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have always been transparent about the challenges facing the company and how we intend to tackle them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Lots of autonomy as well as the option to work together on projects and tasks as they arise.
What makes you most happy at work?
I have a level of autonomy I have had in few other places and I am totally able to manage my own direction.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company is not as well-positioned financially as FAANG and related and as such, doesn't pay the lower-levels as competitively as they could
What did you like most about the interview process?
Everyone with whom I spoke was personable and easy to talk to. They provided solid answers to my questions indicating they were well-versed in the areas about which I inquired.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The work-life balance skews towards the life part in that the company actively pushes employee well-being. The downside, however, is that they do it at the expense of culling employees who are not performing (meaning, they are not terminating employees that should be).
