I really enjoyed working in workday when I joint. As it has grown up and after restructuring the growth has slow down. I can see log of favoritism politics. Most of the managers are not focussing what is best for company but focusing more on OKR to maximize their bonus.
What are some of the best things about your team?
work and life balance which most of the team members are enjoying.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
transparency and no favoritism politics. Just because of politics, very few people close to manager gets opportunity to grow. Rest of them just keep on working and quite the job.
What makes you most happy at work?
The top management takes care for people. Managers have not being given so much power to make life hard for anyone in the team with home he or she does not agree.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Each and every team is different. For internal position, there is no fair competition. In most of the jobs (specially the job to move from developer to manger), candidates are already decided. The member in interview panel already know to whom to select. It is just staged.
