Managing by exception. It’s is so varied from store to store what leadership is like. It seems just easier for managers to manage this way. Sad

Unfortunately at most boxes and with the district staff, it’s about personality fit. This that don’t fit the personality of leadership, don’t go anywhere. Yes, great work gets noticed, but first pick is who has the fit of the connected personality.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Look at the tenure of Lowes Managers. Then look at how long a store manager atYs at a Lowes store. When you move a manager, fire a amanager, it disrupts the relationship that store has with the community. Lowe’s is much better at this. Home Depot is so internal focused.
