I have been at AT&T for less than a year. I am so fortunate to report to a manager who is ethical and positive, but also provides me with constructive feedback. I think he genuinely sees potential in me and expects me to excel within the company and I respond to that type of encouragement.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are truly a team. We encourage and support one another and we seek ways to lift each other during more challenging / busy seasons. We bring a variety of talents which strengthens our ability to successfully tackle challenges together.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
While I am given the autonomy to make the best decisions for my region, I also feel very closely connected with my team. I understand the "why" because my manager onboarded me well and consistently ties our daily activities to organizational goals. I feel equally supported and challenged to grow.
What makes you most happy at work?
In EA, I love to bring together elected officials, community leaders, and AT&T for "win as one" moments. Highlighting our efforts to bridge the digital divide of helping a customer or elected official find a solution for their problem is exciting to me. It makes me happiest to help my team succeed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I just see so many opportunities to grow and advance at AT&T. It is a wonderful place to work and it impresses me to meet so many people who have been with the company for decades because they feel valued and they know they are making a difference. I love that about AT&T.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
As a team member with a family, good health, dental, and vision insurance is a must. I would like to explore the tuition reimbursement to finish my doctorate, but I have been unable to do so yet. Recently, my familh was able to take advantage of travel (car & hotel) discounts when booking our vacay.
