The recent effort to eliminate virtual employees and those not in the designated locations has decimated much of my team, and spirit, and we are now scrambling to ensure things still work. We used to have great diversity of thought and talent and collaborated effectively regardless of location.
RTO was a surplus in disguise. It forced many to relocate unnecessarily in order stay employed in this bad job market and others to leave. We have lost so much talent as a result and now have overcrowded workspaces that require long commutes and early start times in order to get a seat.
