Over the 29 years here it has been a good experience, I have learned a lot. But getting near the end of my career it feels changes made are to push senior employees to choose to retire even if early.

They are trying to turn the company around with a new vision for the future. Drive cost out and make it run efficiently.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Are team works well together to meet our goals and assist each other on things without worry of being misguided by them so they look better.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love what I do and helping the customers and community. As a STM it is good to get out and help in times of need with the FirstNet and NDR teams.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Leaders in the field I have found to utilize like a support group, we share experiences and get advice how to handle things that come up with all the constant negativity pushed on us now under the new leadership.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Cookie cutter job titles box people in the groups. Everyone with my title doesn't cover what I do and are not expected to have their phone 24/7x365 like we are. Yet we are boxed into what they think we do based on that title. It would be nice to go home w/o AT&T constantly calling all hours.
