It's been exciting and nurturing in general terms. The teams work well and the environment in general is healthy. However, I've heard many negative comments regarding the salaries, so I think it's a huge area of opportunity.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's a culture of cooperation and community bonding. It's nice to come to work and find such nice and caring people.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There are many professional working here; they contribute to the team's growth and work hard to find ways to improve the overall environment. They're also open to learning and teaching others.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They're proactive, responsible, committed and professional. They work hard to achieve the team's goals, they're open to feedback and are also willing to upskill their teammates. We have open and honest communication as well.
What makes you most happy at work?
The projects we're working on and the possibility of expanding our work to other sites abroad, the possibilities of traveling in the future and the interest they have in what we do in Bogot?
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm not being paid enough. I get less money than people below me in the hierarchy. Getting a raise is not easy here and it seems you have to give evidence of your professional worth in order to push for more money. The company can certainly afford more competitive salaries.
