I think if the company allows us to work remotely without having to show up at work 4 times a month, it will be easier for us. In India, we work difficult hours all week and suddenly 1 day a week we are asked to show up at work early in the morning, for the same work that can be done at home.
Review from Product Dept
I think employees should be given more flexibility in working keeping in mind the pressure that is put on them. I think remote work should be the way to go ahead for people who want to work from home and do not want to relocate just to be at work one day every week. I hope this is taken into account

Taking accountability for decisions made and shortfalls, rather than react by cutting costs and people.

Total rewards is followed. Some part of it covered by non monetary benefit. Management can cut down other benefits and increase monthly take home amount in India.

Given the responsibilities and weightage of work, should at least be paid on performance of each individual and market parity.

The company is yet to cope with the Indian tax benefits Car lease, ESOP, food coupon and others. These are indirectly compensational benefits that could be worked up on. w.r.t. compensations, the markets highly volatile with AI and ways of working. Consider market corrections for certain employees.

Linguistic and caste-based groupism and favouritism are experienced, but they are pushed under the rug. At the Chennai office, the Tamil and Telugu brahmin clique and coterie is too much to handle. All despise them. But nothing is openly told,

If you do not like another colleague, it is not a good idea to talk about it openly in a business setting. As a superior and a subordinate, you can't even point it out.

Better communications and inclusivity. The change in communication frequency has been difficult. More "walk the talk", rather than "talk the talk"

There has been a recent shift in culture, and seems that it aligns with the economic climate. The hiring pause, and changes in the org has resulted in a shift in culture unfortunately.

It should be more inclusive for the differently abled.

HR behaves oddly. Some people continuously apply for 5-6 years to get selected. Is this done on purpose to maintain the premiumness - not sure. Rejection reasons are not communicated. All HR work is outsourced, the third party needs more training and fixing

The part of the company I am in (Health) is extremely CAPEX- and finance-driven. Budget cycles, not market trends or customer needs, dictate planning cadence and effectively result in waterfall-like development. Prioritization is based on anecdotes from sellers and executive opinion, not hard data.

Lots of layoffs and reorgs recently. Drags down morale, makes people feel less safe and less comfortable with getting invested in new teams, projects.
Review from Product Dept
Relationships are not so good. There are few people I can talk openly with, so I think the best solution is to have a trusted colleague.
