Overall my experience at Kroger has been mostly frustrating. We're understaffed, badly. Wages are lower than Kroger's national competitiors. Decisions made at the top hurt the front line employees.

Labor hours have been cut to the point that she stores operate on a skeleton crew. Associates are underpaid, even by retail standards.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Wages for retail associates are far behind what competitors pay. Kroger cut its already measley hazard pay mid pandemic. Full time experienced store clerks deserved to be paid a livable wage.
