In my year of working, it's been like a bipolar runaway train day in and day out. From the different policies, to taking advantage of their employees and then putting glitter in the press to sugar coat everything, it's nonsense and don't expect to see them open for very much longer

And this is the sugar coating, kroger benefits are unparalleled, especially the health plans. But you're more likely to use the health plan because of working at kroger
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people themselves are fine, are they the most effective? No but people are people, and you can't expect anything more. The issues really start from the top, or corporate and slowly trickles down into the stores between attitudes and policies
What did you like most about the interview process?
When I was finally called back (after a month and several run around stories) it was easy after that show up, took a walk around the store, did some computer stuff and then went to work the next day which was nice
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Short staff= lack of product on shelves=dissatisfied customer, which then can turn into an infinite negative loop. I don't even have enough time in my day to stop and say hi to anyone and people get upset over that and then feeds into a more hostile environment
