My department manager is great, but store director and higher are terrible

Coworkers are nice and fun but we constantly are shit on by corporate
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Coworkers. That's it the rest isn't good, like I said earlier overworked underpaid
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
First actually do interviews and place people in departments that need em, and second communicate how much slack they'll be picking up.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A raise. Maybe enough so that I can pay my bills and buy food, which currently working 40 hours a week I can't.
