My local store is great. I'm lucky to have good local leadership. However, anything and anyone from corporate that I've ever dealt with has been absolutely horrible. Seems the store leaders feel the similar. The "higher-ups" in corporate only care about their own wallets. Full stop.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was quick. I had some options on which department I joined.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all seem to have a similar vision of improvement, despite all setbacks forced on us from elsewhere.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My immediate boss actually listens, cares, and best, actually takes steps to remedy issues instead of giving lip-service only. Works with me on scheduling concerns, and actually seems to care about the humans he leads.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Blatant and excessive greed is a major issue. Price gouging. Crappy treatment of employees from corporate. Those at the top need to pay more attention to those who actually make the company run, and quit thinking only with their bank accounts.
