New people working at night in the deli, no management goes back there and catches them not working. Good workers stuck with workload while slackers continue to slack. Told managers and nothing has gotten done about it
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If management woyld listen to our side. We have way too much work and not enough people or hours. And i believe our job is worth more than minimum wage or a couple dollars more. Its stressful and physically and mentally draining. And higher pay would decrease turnover.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Alot of the workers at night are new so they talk on the phone, eat, talk to each other in the back and ignore customers. They will lean back and let the good workers do all the work without any sympathy and they will take all of the credit. Management isnt here at night so they aren’t able to fix i
