Use commonsense come up with methods that will work out here in the real world. Try harder to make your employees happy, happy employees make happy customers. I know this for a fact, I owned my own business and it works.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It feels like you are set up to fail in any task you are given. When you do find a method that works you are told you can't do it that way. There is no commonsense used when the people in the office is coming up with these new ways to do things.
