
Most other grocery retail businesses start out at 9.00/hr. to 9.50/ hr. 8.00/ is way too low for the type of work that I do.
For the most part coworkers and managers are friendly and easy to work with. They also do a good job of recognizing those that do a great job at what they do.
We don't have team meetings. I believe that if we have 1 to 2 team meetings a day, we would be up to date on how we are doing and what is expected of us. Too little communication between higher up management and regular employees.
Managers need to communicate more with employees and show concern for others. As a courtesy clerk, I feel that the management is not really concerned about my well being. They often overlook me on breaks and act like they are.not concerened about how stressful and strenuous our job is at times.
