
Reality. Most of them have worked at store level before and have forgotten the real time needed for tasks to be completed. There is never enough time given for the bodies needed.
We are like family! Our store is in a small, tight knit community and we know our customers by name. We work great together and rally around each other in times of need.
Better pay. Communication. More opportunities to boost morale. A pat on the back and saying "well you get a pay check" isn't enough. Better pay would bring in more reliable, stable, long term employees.
My role. I am fortunate to know all new employees and in turn connect with every employee in my store and others. I help solve issues for my co-workers. They know they can count on me to go to bat for them.
