Extremely stressed all the time.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We need more manpower if we are to accomplish the company's many goals while maintaining some semblance of sanity.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We have tight knit teams that work together we'll. This has been true at all the stores I have worked in.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Less micro managing through arbitrary reports and via email. Most upper managers spend their days forwarding reports we look at on a daily basis anyway.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Our wages are fair and our benefits are decent. Not as good as years past but better than a lot of other full time jobs out there. We just have too many micro managed high pressure goals and not enough staff to accomplish them.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Getting back to the core Kroger values providing great service through investment in their employees. Our wages and benefits are fine, we are just all stretched too thin. Executives and our CEO are taking in record amounts of cash by slashing the workforce.
