Being a cashier is great, very fast pace which I like.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was fast pace, and I got both of my interviews done in one day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The pay, it's decent. Compared to other retailers such as Walmart in my area it doesn't necessarily Stack Up. Walmart starts cashier's out with no experience at 10.75 an hour in my area
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I'm a diabetic, I required to have water / a drink with me at all times. I'm not allowed to have water at my register to drink. If this world could be changed it'll be great, I'll even use a branded Kroger reusable water bottle, because all I drink is water.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Every year Kroger waste a lot of money with the whole make it right idea, I agree with the make it right idea don't get me wrong. But what they could do is take some of the money that they waste with it and put it back into their employees, not with a dollar amount.
