My experience started out great and has drastically gone downhill in the recent years. Managers are treating some people like garbage and allowing others who are beyond incompetent to do whatever they please. The new manager is a controlling tyrant who needs to be fired.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some of my coworkers and customers are very friendly.
What did you like most about the interview process?
At the time, the hiring manager was very nice. It isn't the case anymore.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because this company chooses to continue to keep the store I'm at paid lower than the other Kroger stores in the zone. They could listen to employees and give us adequate raises.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most of the coworkers are lazy and do not grasp what "teamwork" is. They need to start actually putting forth some sort of effort because one person has to do the job of three or more individuals because the other workers are hiding or talking.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The managers are terrible, not enough people are scheduled, innocent people are being punished while guilty people can do as they please, the company is trying to compete with Amazon, etc. There needs to be a massive investigation and managers need to be replaced with more capable people.
