They're my friends. We talk to each other openly and honestly, and the store feels like a family to be with.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicating with one another. At this point, if I have a message that needs to get passed between two or more parties, I've got to be the one to pass it between them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm a Deli Clerk getting paid equal to high school courtesy clerks after working for nearly 8 months, full time. I believe a work a significantly more difficult job and deserve a slightly better pay and/or benefits plan to reflect this.
