Amazing surface level benefits and perks, mediocre pay, long hours, and little room for advancement as anyone that has been there for more than 5 years is a manager and seems to be locked in for life. Middle management is the bane of existence at Malouf.

I love the company, but i just sense that others just show up and dont work as hard as the others, i get annoyed seeing the same people just talk and hide within the aisles and its like that almost everyday and the worst part is they ger paid more than the ones that actually work.

Malouf has been a dream company to work for. Previous companies had great aspects or things that I greatly appreciated, but ultimately had enough challenges that led to me leaving. I hope to stay at Malouf for a very long time.

Free lunch and the health benefits

Malouf continues to pay for health insurance. This alone increases my take-home pay so much! Not to mention lunch, break-rooms, gym, etc. Lots of things to love.

We are continually told that the benefits, perks, and cost of living in Cache Valley are enough justification for being paid less than we would at other companies. This may have been true 5 years ago, but is not the case anymore.

There's zero communication from management. I've requested more communication multiple times and nothing has changed. I don't hear from them about things that I'm doing well or things that I need to improve on. However management does speak about me to other employees who then come back and tell me.

An over-arching attitude of trust. I think there's a trust and expectation that everyone is doing their best. It may not be perfect, but we'll look at those things and try to improve.

Management needs to recognize those who go above and beyond to get things done and promote them. Not show favortism to friends and people in there select group!! This happens all the time!!!
