What is the best part about your compensation package?
It was fair due to the circumstances

I am retired from 30+ years of management in large companies. I joined the staff as an associate to be around people. The compensation package has its good thoughts but if you can't live on wages and have to work 2 or more jobs to survive you do not have employee's interest in mind.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It doesn't matter. I would never work for them again.

I try to do stuff that would make the store run better and help our customers out more but the store leader shuts it down because it would make her have to work a little more than she already doesn't.

Speedway believes that since they have a better benefits package for it's employees that they can pay them less then their competitors next door. So when the Shell station is paying their people $10/hr after 6 months. Speedway is only paying $8.25/hr after 3 months at my location.

Our assistant store manager is great. We love her! If it weren't for her this store would fall apart and nothing would get done.

The people I work with are good people who care about each other but unfortunately if manager dislikes someone their hours are reduced to cause hardship for them to survive.

There's no communication between anyone, there aren't enough employees to cover the shifts. And the workload isn't being fairly shared.

This was more than work i looked at speedway as a carrer and was excelling at it until i was bullied out of a job the correct terms would be slander/ abuse by authority. I absolutely loved working at speedway in jasper. I would be there right now working if it was my choice

I am a hard worker and keep myself busy throughout my graveyard shift only to be told I'm not doing enough. Also, I feel I'm being pressured to go against company policy so manager can show high percentage regarding reward cards.
