Insight Global: I've been with the company for 6.5 years and I've had a positive experience. I've been promoted into two different roles. I've had great mentors that provide feedback to help make me a better person every day both personally and professionally.
Medela: I think the Highest Executive leaders are brilliant, wonderful people. Sales Leadership is where those executive leaders are being fed disinformation on poorly designed strategies costing the company business on a daily basis. Management manages the person above them for their job, not for Medela

Medela: It was good until the SAP go live. Under prepared, not all needed functions available. Training was not adequate in all departments. Implementation was rushed not ready.

Extra Space Storage: I've been with ExtraSpace a year next month and love how much of a family we have all become. You might be working alone (or not) a certain day but know that if you call another store they'll be able to help you. I also really appreciate how promotions are not based on your work ethic not time here.

Medela: Medela is the biggest small company in the business. It is not too big that you cannot reach out to a VP or marketing manager but not too small to make huge waves. It is a great company to work for. Everyone seems to know their role and what they need to do to make the company successful.
Chick-fil-A: The operator and her family that run it need to learn what treating people with Honor, Dignity & Respect is. They are not the example Mr. Cathy wanted set. This family mistreats many people but mostly the white people, degrades people daily & they serve contaminated product.

Cognizant Softvision: Interview process was really smooth, highly efficient and I could fully count on the HR representative in charge of my recruitment. I had 4 interviews, one per week, and they were all virtual (this was before COVID). I really enjoyed the process.

We have VP level meetings that don't provide a lot of value to the team and seem just for face time with the VP. The VP level seems to have a gap of connection with the field

Medela: Overall, I think it has been going smooth. This has not yet happened to me but many coworkers share that when they need to use emergency time, there are times they do not allow it because they are short on production people, this should not be allowed because we leave for a reason is FMET.
Insight Global: It has been tough and challenging at times - but if you can hold tight and listen to leadership, take advice, and self reflect and work hard. you will be successful no matter what. You will have people supporting you and celebrating you the whole way.

Medela: I had challenges with first my manager but since then new managers have given me much greater opportunity to grow and use my talents and experience more effectively. I do feel we work way too lean - I can work 10+ hours daily trying to keep my head above water.

OTG Management: Most staff are represented by unions and have cheaper benefits then the management team. Pay is competitive though.

Medela: I enjoy the people I work with and the larger meaning of what it is that we do. I would like to see us do a bit more to secure our future and more directly take aggressive competitors more head on. I would also like a more clear career path for my future laid out and explained to me.

Medela: There is not great career path development, and benefits could be better - especially for moms and families. Healthcare benefits are expensive and not great for maternity. However, I like the people and the culture. The pay is good, and the time off is good. Flexibility is great.
Medela: Currently I am encouraged by our executive team. My manager is likely the best manager I've had. The business is still very profitable. The compensation is competitive. Historically, reduction-in-force decisions have been at best ad-hoc. The culture still needs change. And some personnel.
Medela: Company has a great culture and teams of highly skilled people. Many disciplines at our company are leading edge. Some other disciplines are very outdated like lack of any meaningful portfolio management, program management, capacity and resource management, project/work management
Medela: My experience has been great; learning new things and accomplishing something important for moms!!
SS&C Technologies: One big disappointment. They make a lot of promises to employees but always have an excuse every year of why they can't deliver.
Medela: Its a good place to work. From still holding onto the small company family feel to now growing into a true global organization, Medela is on its way up!

Medela: I like working for Medela! However I find the pace to respond to competitive threats extremely slow - this has made our brand incredibly vulnerable and this scares me with regard to future success.

Medela: need to start communicating and treat everyone the same
Medela: Never worked at such a fast pace, wore hot clothing, gloves, head cover, rubber gloves, this is very warm. Get points for everything, even if it can't be helped.
Medela: I wish I could see my children more. I feel stuck in the position I am in. I feel used at times because I have more responsibility than others in the same role. I would like to see more opportunity for advancement. I feel like others take credit for my work, and it's disappointing.
Medela: I've learn a lot of new things here and I like that they move me around to different type of jobs, because that way I learn more and I get bore less.
Medela: Working at Medela is wonderful but there is a lot of issues that still need to be fixed. We're hoping the new VP of Marketing can recognize and fix this. Marketing should be owned by marketing personnel, and not sales. We have a lot of double-dipping and our sales are affected by this.

Medela: I grew up at Medela, I am 40 years old and have been with Medela for 13 years. I have seen the company go through ups and a few downs. We always come out on top! We are a family and we all value each other and work hard to accomplish our goals.
Medela: I tell everyone that it my most favorite job that I have ever had after 30 years of being in the working world.
Medela: A great place to work . We make lives better, and we are well supported by management.

Medela: There are people and scheduling issues that keep me challenged but overall I believe it is balanced enough where I can tackle those issues and yet still get my job done thoroughly.

Medela: I love working for Medela. I have so much pride working for this company by how we make so many life's better. We have such a great group of leaders in our company that really set a great example for the whole organization.
Medela: Very good company, progressive and forward thinking. We need to make sure new middle managers not hired from within truly understand this company and the value of all its employees. Recent uncontrollable market conditions will & have already delayed previous progress and they need understand that.

Xanterra: Address your open door policy and modernize it. Also take your employee mental health issues serious you could have had a suicide on hands.

Medela: When I was first hired at Medela, I was very excited to work for a company that valued employees and was willing to retain them. Now, it seems that the value is placed on such a "lean" operation that we have crippled ourselves by removing workers who were strong assets to our organization.

Medela: Medela has changed since I first started, I feel like we do more and more for the company and we are not appreciated. I explained about the life balance and all I get is you shouldn't be working that long but yet the work is expected to be done and reflects on you if it isn't done. Makes it hard.

Medela: I like working at Medela for the most part the only thing I would say is the late hours sometimes make it hard to have a social life but all in all I like it.
Medela: My experience at Medela has been a very good one. I am given the opportunity and most importantly encouraged to learn new things.
Medela: it was good in the beginning, and then not so much. some people getting promoted over you, and sometimes there is no way of knowing there was a position available until you see on the screen that someone got a promotion. Also pay raises seem to keep getting lower every year.
Medela: How they work as a team
Medela: good and comfortable being there
Medela: My experience from when I started has gone from good to terrible. No room for advancement except for higher ups to advance themselves and whoever they like. Everyone else can stagnate, sad to see no one able to advance their careers through here.
Medela: my overall experience has been really good. I have had several opportunities to move up in the company and have accepted every offer.
Medela: Although I do enjoy working at this company it has been a bit disappointing how some of our benefits have been dropped. The small details of a birthday card or holiday meal really made a difference. The recent change in benefits with parental leave should be extended to 6mnths prior parents.
Medela: My experience has been very positive, when i started i was assigned a mentor that way always ready and available whenever i needed help. Same with management, they alway made me feel comfortable is i needed help in any other areas of my job.
Medela: There are areas of improvement with the speed of reaction to the market and current events. Within certain department there seems to be a lot micromanaging and and with the even changing market the positions , we need to attract more talent that understand the industry standards. Be better and fast
Medela: I have more practice in assembler, testing and inspect parts
Medela: Extremely positive. An enjoyable group of people with a unique culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Medela: its a great company with a lot of benefits, it would be nice if you can take a day or two without pay not only when it benefits the company

Medela: Its a good environment, the work is not that challenging to get used to, there is always a chance for moving up in the company, and good pay with benefits.
Medela: I always try to come to work with a positive mindset but there are just some coworkers that like to think they have more power than they actually do. I do wish they would move is around more in production. Being stuck on the same line everyday is what makes it hard and sometimes not want to come in.

Medela: When I first joined this company was completely different. I was super happy to come in daily and do my duties.Now I dread waking up and having to work. I feel stuck and I am slowly doing what the seniors in my department do and just give up and give in and just do enough not to get fired.
Medela: I have been at Medela a long time. There have been changes, from personal to professional to organizational, that have positioned Medela for long-term sustained growth. My manager typically has me talk to all of his/her prospective new hires because I love our culture and the path we are on.
Medela: Overall i am happy; participation by Senior Management on the local Steering Committee for the SAP project was disappointing. Many times folks did not attend the committee meetings. Medela: The only negative I have to say about Medela and my experience there. The only thing is the ever-revolving door in the Quality Director's office. The current director is fairly new, so making an assessment of him as a leader is difficult at this time.
Medela: I love it at Medela! It's rewarding and challenging all at the same time. Such a great place to work!
Medela: I love Medela. I had the chance to leave and I chose to stay. I believe in Medelas message(CEO), values and products. The negative is no career advancement. I asked my boss and he gave me options that I am already certified in. Then gave me a project. That's not growth! Showed nointerestinme.
Medela: Flexibility is key to being successful at Medela but also this also leads to misdirection and wasted efforts.

Medela: I think Medela is great company there are always things that can be better but there is great communication and are very supportive of the employees.
Medela: In previous years it has been good. The last couple have been intolerable. With so many mgmt changes, poorly implemented SAP and last minute requests that we don't have data for. I am hopeful that with the latest mgmt changes & with another yr of SAP we'll be back to better times in 2022.

There is a general fear due to layoff history I am not comfortable with, and sometimes a bully/steamrolled mentality comes through others
