Review from Operations Dept
Their commitment to the job
Review from Operations Dept
Highly dedicated to the customer and the business
Review from Operations Dept
Being more understanding of people needing time off as long as they are willing to show proof of an appointment. They need to get people out of there everyday at a decent time. We all have lives to live outside of Ashley Furniture. And responsibilities that are more important than making money.
Review from Operations Dept
Needs to improve upon identifying talent & promoting /increasing pay according to work ethic, load and ability. Sales - male dominant/ran despite quality female staff is paid grossly more than Operations, which is understaffed, underpaid, & mostly female minority. All Female dom roles seem the same
Review from Operations Dept
Education and people skills. Respect employee's personal lives.
Review from Operations Dept
Employer is so rude they cant value the new employee and they dont do training
Review from Operations Dept
Yearly profit share is amazing
Review from Operations Dept
health insurance is very affordable and available
Review from Operations Dept
I dont feel appreciated. I feel like im just a number. Maybe a high number because i work hard and hardly ever miss. But i know i can be replaced there but not at home. There are some that barely work up there and some that give their all. And sadly i fall into the category that gives their all.

FDE will try to have you do three jobs on 2/3 the fair pay of ONE of those jobs. For their "extreme ownership" push, they actually tried to say people were bad workers for not doing things for free. Multiple sit downs had by many employees w/HC for trivial nonsense to prevent raises/promotions. Sad
Review from Operations Dept
Too many hours to make a decent living.
Review from Operations Dept
Wish I was paid more
Review from Operations Dept
Some of the employees (bay guys)are great and work hard. Unfortunately they are over looked by most of the company and are forced to stand in freezing temperatures while the shop and management team sit comfy in reclining chairs in climate controlled boxes demanding more get done for their bonuses
Review from Operations Dept
Well 1st thing everybody works differently but for the most part we the delivery team all get along with each other
Review from Operations Dept
Highly skilled in communcation and excellent in team building
Review from Operations Dept
Honestly nothing Phoenix delivery has such potential but we are set to fail then asked why we didn't pass.....
Review from Operations Dept
The people on my team are highly qualified and highly intelligent. Most could and should pursue better paying jobs the second they could get one. If you want your talent and kindness to be used and abused, by all means, work for FDE
Review from Operations Dept
We could work better together if we were informed better about how many pieces we need to run. They give us a number in the morning that is manageale then change it to more throughout the day. We are tired and burnt out. We slow down toward the end from exhaustion and still have to keep running.
Review from Operations Dept
Co worker is so rude and mean
Review from Operations Dept
Employees need to inform and call the hotline and outside agencies on poor conditions, work hours, safety violations, and lack of support. This is in need of union representation to cripple this abuse from a very unexperienced and lacking senior executive team that only cares of dollars.
Review from Operations Dept
We keep each other positive and upbeat. Middle Management is typically terrible. When coupled with Human Capital (not HR, but they work to protect the company not employees), it gets even worse. The sales team is berated. The Ops teams are overworked and underpaid. You can't breathe without critique
Review from Operations Dept
employees work hard for safety but policies contradict them.
Review from Operations Dept
it's a daily challenge. for anyone that loves challenge, this company is for you
Review from Operations Dept
people are willing to help out.
Review from Operations Dept
They all mean at all
Review from Operations Dept
Culture, work/life balance, pay, and outdated operations. The SVP of operations operates a fear based team, is unprofessional, abusive, lacks executive experience outside Ashley, and could not hold this position at any reputable company. Talent and change is needed.
Review from Operations Dept
Weekly meetings... make sure everyone does their job and just be a manager and do yourself a favor and step dowk
Review from Operations Dept
Meeting various people from the different departments which helped me better understand the overall company culture.
Review from Operations Dept
How quick it went and how quickly they got me a job
Review from Operations Dept
It was quick and easy to get hired.
Review from Operations Dept
I just feel like they hore anyone, and thats a lot of the reason why we have a lot of people that dont want to work. The young kids right out of school do not want to work. Maybe start then out as part time. Mothers and fathers are the best workers. They have to work to take care of the littles.
Review from Operations Dept
Make sure if applying for delivery they are pre tested on physical condition and if hired spend first 3 days with prepers so new hires gets comfortable and acclamation to the basics on assembly instead of pass the back ground and thrown into sink or swim mode expectancy of a fish climbing a tree
Review from Operations Dept
Hold interviews in an office, not the main showroom floor. Have interviewers actually arrive ON TIME to interview potential employees. Let people know it will be individual or group. Some had to wait so long, they had to leave to get their kids from school.
Review from Operations Dept
Interview for talent and future growth. The company brings in people that are mediocre to keep the insanity and tyrannical operations for fear of change and known leadership inability.
Review from Operations Dept
When we go in to a truthful number of pieces, and we run that quickly and get to go home feeling accomplished and proud. And not having to make myself stay there. The only thing keeping me there right now is the money. But finally realizing the money is not worth all the time lost.
Review from Operations Dept
I do inhome delivery I love this job I've been here for almost 5 years now. I love the fact it's all the same routine different scenes and faces. I look up to my regional manager and warehouse manager because they seen potential when I started and always encouraged me to do better
Review from Operations Dept
daily challenge and investigation while trying to continuously improve current processes
Review from Operations Dept
Getting paid every day I show up
Review from Operations Dept
Achieving difficult and challenging goals we set for ourselves. "Find a way" is one of our mottos, and it speaks to the never give up spirit of our culture.
Review from Operations Dept
Culture: F. Pay: F. Treatment of Employees: F. Quality of Service the customers receive after purchase is terrible; the Sales/Ops team work together to remedy problems corporate management should have a team in place to resolve. Evrythng put on Cust Service Mgr for Escalations- too much for 1 person
Review from Operations Dept
Outdated, fear based, work/life balance, pay structure, executive team, morals, integrity, talent, Training, safety,, Quality, working conditions, turnover, Injuries, unprofessional.....The company needs an overhaul and ignore the signs that show how faulty areas are.
Review from Operations Dept
Respect for employees safety and personal lives.
