Overall life/work balance is not bad, since the company moves so slowly. There isnt a lot of stress to deliver things in a rush, which is fine, but sometimes features take months to be delivered if at all. A little bit more of agility would be nice to have. Talented people time could be better used

People like to gather and have time together. No one cares about gender, race, etc.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too much bureaucracy, things mov slowly, 3rd gen migration is a pain (deploying services to the new platform is extremely complicated with few documentation). In 2nd gen half the features that reach my team are then rolled back because there was a lack of previous investigation by PMs/PEs
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay below the market for same positions, no bonuses to work for, stock options given are kind of misleading, since we will get 50% of the value due to fees not to talk about the vesting. I do not see enough incentives to keep employees happy, but the company brags every Sync about exceptional result
