My experience has been good overall compared to previous companies. Of course, things could always be better, however, I don't honestly believe that senior leadership is interested in hearing my opinion - or even implementing any of my suggestions. For the moment, I'm happy to simply do my job.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy the freedom to work autonomously. My immediate supervisor/manager is very accommodating and helpful in that regard.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I'm one of the youngest people on my team, so it's great to be able to look toward an older generation as a source of wisdom and ethics.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team seems like genuinely nice people. I don't believe they have my best interest at heart, nor are they doing what they can to retain my employment. However, they don't seem to be malicious about it, more neglectful than anything else.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The ability to work fully remote and have 'flex-time' off is a great benefit. The salary could always be better, but I feel it's fair compared to other companies in my region for comparable work. I haven't had much need for any other benefits, but I also have no complaints regarding insurance, etc..
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's hard to pinpoint anything as being expressly positive about the culture since most of the culture is centered around increasing our companies' ESG score - which worries me. If there's any silver lining to that, it would be that I don't feel pressured to be a part of all that 'woke' nonsense.
