It was a great part-time job. You woudl need to realize that many of your customers are older and may have restricted movement, so you really need to listen to the customer and help them find what works best for them, even if you think it is not particulalry flattering.

The only person I like in leadership is my store manager. I think leadership doesn't know what they're doing, and is about to bleed the company dry before it bankrupts. Stores frequently get in floor set or direction with incorrect product, and promotions that are too complicated.

The regional leadership was great in terms of letting us know what changes were coming down from corporate in the near future, I owrked at Tablbots from 2015-2020 and had to quit due to pandemic and reduced hours that conflicted with my full time job. Our assistant store manager was phenomenal.

We did not have store meetings. Things got communicated by text or notes in our lockers. As a professional with a state agency, I found it an odd way to do business communication. It would have been great to have an private employee FB page where all updates could be communicated or via email.

When im helping customers and interacting with them. I also try to connect with my coworkers but when management sees us talking we get reprimanded. Its not like we are not working when we chat.

Helping someone find a garment that fits correctly (proportions match their body) and that is flattering. I was flumoxed by the number of women who did not know what size they were or thought they wore a different size than what actually fit. Sad to see the negative perceptions about size numbers.
