Too little time (or rather, no time at all) is invested in the personal development of employees. There are practically no opportunities for career steps, at least in our division. You either accept this or leave the company. Naturally, this also has a negative impact on the motivation.

Overtime is not paid, but is expected as a standard requirement. No compensation, appreciation, or remuneration.

Trimble compensation is lower when compared to the market and promotions through the various pay levels is a challenge. Too many managers prevent promotions because of their past experiences.

We are given the opportunity to learn, lead, and collaborate with everyone around us. I have never had a boss that managed my day to day activities, tried to connect me with other teams, or push me in certain directions. I have done this myself and am encouraged to do so.

I can't say this for the entire company or every segment of my division however, positivity is a result of a handful of coworkers I work with who are ambitious, authentic and want to do as well as they can in their roles.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Overall the company culture is dominated by the belief USA is ruling the world, economy is the only thing that matters and capitalism is the only way. We're destroying the world and are happy to do so.
