EXCELLENT. Wanted to exit corporate work since I started working in corp jobs. Trimble changed my mind about that. I have true "work-life integration" where I am not MY JOB as an identity. I am me, that does this job. Career advancement unclear and limited ops to progress to leadership. Comp pkg ok.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Integrity at the top level. Always TRYING no matter what, they have not given up or given in when they could have. Genuinely good people. Not nefarious or ego-driven. Middle mgmt might not be as developed as leaders in some areas, however.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
R. Painter said in NEO "you can feel good about working here." That describes my experience. Fantastic company, quite the unicorn. Integrity, honesty. Flexible, but accountable to provide value. W/L balance. Always TRYING. But issues with: information sharing, siloes, career advancement, slow.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Full of knowledge but flexible to change and not set in their ways. Open minded, but firm where need be. Willingness to mentor. Nice, and genuinely good people. Integrity and honesty. No corporate inner competition, we all want to see each other win and not destroy each other
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Salary was okay coming in- raises are hard to come by, inflation hurting-- not as high as other companies. Cash bonus OK. Remote work great, but that is the standard. 401K match is still low, after-tax 401K not available, quarterly fees high. Spring health is great. Healthcare too expensive. PTO ok
What makes you most happy at work?
Working with my coworkers, and the non-malicious and good nature of this company. The TRUE flexibility (ex: I can go on a short walk mid-day which helps with my ADHD). Lack of micromanagement. At times when I get to own something (which can be rare), I feel empowered and responsible for the success
