Capitalism should collapse, but since i need to feed my family i take happily part in this stupid comedy. I switch my laptop on every morning, listen amazing lectures about how to use AI instead of using my brain, and pretend like everything is going to be fine.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We should send out a strong message about our environment, world peace and how broke is the capitalist society, instead of focusing on money and going back to offices.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It seems in Trimble developers could already be sent out and the management is convinced that AI should take over. If we are where we are is because of our products, not because of managers.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Overall the company culture is dominated by the belief USA is ruling the world, economy is the only thing that matters and capitalism is the only way. We're destroying the world and are happy to do so.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is great. People talk and share. Many are remote, but the feeling we know each other and care for each other is more than real. We work closely together and always provide great solutions. Our MVP is usually a perfectly working, solid solution.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The world is about to collapse, there's wars everywhere, the climate change is killing people all over the world and what we focus on is ROI and profit. We should instead focus on ways to help people in need and to focus on mental health and justice.
