It has been fine, I just feel overworked (or incredibly bored) and underpaid, with no time off (or sick days) available.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Encourage taking time off and a better PTO structure for hourly employees. The fact that we have no "Sick Time" is crazy!
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
More transparency on roles. Give hourly employees actual sick time to use instead of having to use PTO. More room to grow financially, pay better wages that align with the market.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Understand that WPS does their best and not everyone is going to be 100% satisfied. I would just love for people to be happy with all if the free meals they get, but they still complain to me every day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Emphasis on collaboration and transparency. Leaders at Trimble seem to encourage cross-functional teamwork and give employees space to contribute ideas, which creates a more inclusive and empowering environment. There also seems to be a strong balance between driving results and supporting employee
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was promised a certain amount from my recruiter, and then was given a dollar less with no room for negotiation. My job has included many responsibilities that I have willingly taken on that were not in the job description, with no additional incentive or compensation. I also assist in travel now
