What are some of the best things about your team?
For the most part our team works closely together. We collaborate face-to-face and are able to accomplish a lot. We put a lot of emphasis on cultural fit while hiring and that helps a lot.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Living near Boulder and working in Boulder is very expensive. Buying a home in Boulder is completely out of the question. Just being able to live near work and make enough to save a little would be nice.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that we have a close team and we can accomplish a lot. We get a lot done, but can also have a laugh about something fun during the day. I like the relaxed but productive nature of the Boulder team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The Boulder office is less corporate that some of the other offices and we have a very close and collaborative team. We meet face-to-face and are able to accomplish a lot. There is a lot going on with projects but the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed. It is a good combination.
