I've been with Trimble for nearly 10 years and have recruited 4 friends to join the company, I love the people I work with and believe Trimble really has a lot to bring to the market place. There's room for growth but Trimble has improved exponentially over those nearly 10 years.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I love that Trimble now offers paid new parent leave.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Trimble's leadership makes themselves very available to everyone in the company they are always open to new ideas and celebrate the big and small wins.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love working with a technology company that is positively impacting the way our world works. From reducing emissions with our trucking customer to creating sustainable infrastructure across the globe our technology makes an impact.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people here are smart but not only the ideas that the teams come up with from marketing to engineering to finance are innovative. Plus I love that I actually want to hang out with my co-workers whether when traveling or in off hours.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe I'm penalized for accepting a lower salary when I first started and even through promotions it's been difficult to get to market rate for my skills and experience. Long standing employees seem to be punished for staying when it comes to salary and meeting market rate.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love that my team is always in learning mode, we test we review the results and we improve from there. The team has fun but also gets down to business to get the job done. We care about each other and how we can each achieve our goals both personally and professionally.
