I do enjoy working in a technical environment and I also enjoy the company of intelligent and sharing co-workers. I find however there is some resistence to change (in management circles) even when it is proven to be more efficient and cost-effective.

Variety, experience and the ability to share knowledge.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting good feedback from our customers, meeting (often very challenging) deadlines. Delivering quality products.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Open sharing of knowledge, better acceptance of different cultures (and races). The interest of many people to try new things.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Direct, simple and clear communication, and lots of it! And also in short (easy to take-on-board) amounts. Progressive and prepared to change.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I approached my manager about my low salary (my skills had grown) and was told there was not a process for a pay rise. So I applied for another job in another (Trimble) department and negotioated a (valid) pay rise. A better process for paying people when they have developed skills would be good.
