I work for Trimble/Trade Service for almost 21 years. I have been given great opportunities early in my career when becoming Trimble in 2013. I am helping with the work a retired person did and I gladly fulfill the need but It prevents other opportunities for advancement. My manager is aware of this
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I admire the moves our company leaders are making to make Trimble a leader in the construction industry.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I appreciate the Trimble Women's Network. This group has made me a better person and employer by empowering women to share the way they overcome work challenges.
What are some of the best things about your team?
we have a current great manager, we work together in helping each other... unfortunately we work in legacy products that will be requiring less workers and I don't see a path or plan to move us forward in the company when that happens
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My 20+ years experience in MEP isn't being utilized to it's potential. Women can be in this industry and aren't represented and given the opportunity to excel. Work is done where needed but at times it takes away from better compensated opportunities
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing I provide a service to others Understanding that my knowledge helps our company move forward. The fact that I can work from home and provide for my family. To be challenged in a new product or a new idea (goals), although that is not happening now.
