Coming from 11 years in the restaurant industry, working for US Bank has made me humble. Working with a smaller staff had really made me feel a unity and teamwork with my co-workers and my manager. Everyone has always been very supportive of the little accomplishments I have. It feels like home.

Leadership micromamages our calendars and demands we are in the office after taking away our offices and not allowing even a pen cup or photo of your children. Morale is at an all time low

Focus on their employees. "Service" is the focus for 2026, but their compensation increases are not even keeping with inflation. As a tenured employee with the bank, the prior executives were more motivating. I don't know anyone here who feels motivated to provide good service.

I started as a part-time employee and was still offered an excellent dental plan and 401K option. There is so much opportunity for growth at this company, especially if they see how much you care.

US Bank pays below market rate. They are laying people off and rehiring the same jobs at a far lower salary

Accounting for inflation, I make the same that I did 5 years ago. US Bank's policy is that it does not account for COL when considering compensation. It's supposedly all "merit based". Which is convenient, because their fees continue to increase, and their revenue continues to increase.

I get paid less than the employees I manage, mostly because I am younger and have less experience in the area of work. However, I bring a lot to the table.

This company is VERY equal opportunity and non-discrimination. I was nervous about symptoms of my PTSD becoming obvious at times, but everyone is so understanding and genuine. Even the busiest, worst days here, are still exponentially better than my best days in the restaurant industry.
