It was good until it wasn't. When we were hired we were promised permanent employment. I finished my last contract and they told us that our contract was ending and they were not going to be active in placing us, and that we would not be keeping our current pay.

I appreciate my direct manager because she always was great at coaching and developing us. The OM's I have no respect for because when out project ended they made sure they would be able to fire all of us so that we could not collect unemployment.

The fact that they had no issues of changing our job descriptions in the middle of the project without asking us if we were willing to move to another project lets me know that they could care less where they moved us and there was not compensation for us taking on more tasks.
