Communicating directly about daily expectations, sharing opportunities for growth equally, and creating a less toxic environment: address issues raised by employees, discipline employees who create hostile work environments, reward employees based on performance not relationships.

Keeping political and personal prejudices out of the workplace. Being more accepting of newer employees as the company has a high turnover rate, treating the job more like a place of business and less like a social club.
