From day one at Amazon, working at a fulfillment center pushed me out of my comfort zone-physically, mentally & socially. Out of the work for 2+ yrs & freshly quarantined, I dove right in! Encouraged by GREAT mgmt, I learned new skills, gained confidence & found there is honor in ALL work. LOVE IT!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Already answered in previous ?s... Supportive, encouragement to succeed, always helpful if issue/barrier arises, NEVER competitive, ALWAYS work as team to achieve larger goals
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing about my team is that I'm on it. Ha! I've had nothing but positive interactions with coworkers and look forward to working each shift.
What did you like most about the interview process?
At height of COVID panic, so to speak, and everything was touchless and using our phones as directed by Amazon trainers. What did I line most?It was over in minutes and received text few days later informing me I was hired!
What makes you most happy at work?
Finding the flow, so to speak, when I'm working quickly, achieving tasks at hand, and TIME FLIES BY!! Also, really love meeting new Amazonians, making a connection with someone. Since I'm FlexShift, I work various shifts, times and meet a LOT of different/new associates.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The best thing about the teams is their accessibility. You can ALWAYS find mgmt close by, working along side Amazon associates. Any problem, question, etc can be addressed right there, right then. No matter what shifts I work, different mgmt teams but same attitude..helpful, concerned, supportive!
