I work for about 10 hours on my feet four days a week. It is hard work. We are working with packages that are no more than 50 lbs. We stow packages, pull packages from belts and put them on baker's racks, push packages to the right moving belt, unload packages from go-carts, wear steel-toed shoes.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like pulling packages and pushing packages.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are a supportive team. We get a lot done and work hard.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are encouraged and appreciated for working hard and getting a lot done.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was all done online and was basically an IQ test to make sure we could do all the training.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They encourage every one of us every day. They tell us safety tips. They have contests sometimes for people that stow at very high rates.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe we could have better benefits. I think if we owned more stock that just came with the job, we would work harder to make Amazon a better place to work and more profitable.
