The hourly rate is higher than a lot of other employers in my area.

There is a lot of experience in the leadership team. More and more of them have moved up in the company and can better relate to those who report to them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
You own your own development. You can go as far in the company as you would like to go. Education after High School is a plus, but not having a college degree doesn't hold you back from rising in the ranks. Once established the focus is mostly on what you have accomplished at Amazon.
